I will work with the tools you supply me or show you how to safely use any other dog training tool, training is essential. I train using operant conditioning and positive reinforcement dog training is at the heart of my approach, as well as exercise, dicipline, and affection. I have trained dogs using a variety of methods and I'm proficient in many diciplines; I'll determine what approach is right for you and your dog at our first consultation. Here is some of my experience:

I have years of experience handling and caring for dogs as a owner, animal handler, trainer, and through County Animal Services, including those with mental illnesses, special needs, or medical requirements. I will show you how to keep your dog happy, healthy, and well behaved for life, including Pitbulls, German Shepherds, Mastiffs, and other large breeds. I have also helped owners with reactivity, aggression, prey drive, and am experienced at preventing and stopping dog fights. I always prioritize animal welfare and understand that exercise is the most important activity for a dog.
Safety comes first. I always train dogs to avoid possible hazards, including unknown people, dogs, machinery, or foreign objects. I can safely stop dogs of any breed from pulling, lunging, bolting, or other harmful behaviors while under my care. I won't hesitate to put myself between a dog and a hazard if necessary.
I give my dogs two long walks up to 5 miles per day; for especially energetic or working breed dogs, I'll train them to use a treadmill for extra exercise.
